Welcome to UBC’s Global Health eNEWS!
Interested in global health but unaware of where to start? Looking for opportunities in education, service-learning, research and collaboration within the scope of global health? Want to stay tuned for more information to get involved with global health, no matter whether you are a student, resident or physician? The Global Health eNEWS launched by students and faculty in the UBC Faculty of Medicine could be a good choice for you!
WHO we are: Global Health eNEWS is the newsletter sponsored by the UBC Global Health Initiative (GHI), UBC Clinical Global Health Network (CGHN), Division of Global Health at UBC Department of Family Practice, as well as Rural Coordination Center of BC (RCCbc).
WHAT we do: Global Health eNEWS aims to promote and inform global health activities, events, courses and lectures, share ideas, pose questions, seek for collaborations and provide information on how to get involved.
WHOM we serve: Global Health eNEWS is for everyone involved or interested in global health: students, residents, physicians, and any local and global communities.
HOW we work: Global Health eNEWS is free and distributed quarterly by email. For some special events or activities to take place, additional announcement will be sent out to provide timely information. If you would like to stay on top of global health involvement, please subscribe here.
We also want to hear from you! We accept submissions from all UBC students, faculty and staff as well as community members. Share your experiences, events, important dates and information about the amazing things you are working on. As long as it is related to global health – we want to hear from you!
