Guest speaker: Dr. Richard Bedell

Description:

All students, residents, physicians and faculty are welcome to join us for the next UBC Global Health Journal Club. We will be discussing the Ebola Virus Disease outbreak in West Africa and review clinical and epidemiological aspects of the outbreak in Sierra Leone. Our guest speaker is Dr. Richard Bedell, a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Global Health, Department of Family Practice (UBC). Dr. Bedell recently worked in Liberia treating EVD patients and experiencing the health system challenges involved, including post-Ebola syndromes and primary care during the Ebola outbreak. Please join us for a very interesting discussion!
