Global Health Initiative Workshop: Refugee Health, Sep. 29th 2015

Hi everyone!

Adorable little girls

The first UBC Global Health Initiative (GHI) Workshop of the year will be taking place on Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at 7:15 pm Pacific Time in MSAC VC Room. The topic is Refugee Health. Everyone with interest is welcome to join. Here is also a friendly reminder that these workshops are MANDATORY for GHI members.

Refugee health has been a widespread issue both locally and globally. We are lucky to host the speaker, Dr. Maureen Mayhew, who will provide both a local and global perspective on refugee health.

Dr. Maureen Mayhew, a Clinical Associate Professor at UBC and Johns Hopkins School of Population and Public Health.
