“Global Disability” is a discussion of disability-related issues here and abroad, including legislation affecting Canadians and day to day realities faced by persons with disabilities in various settings.
Dr. Wee completed her MD at UBC in 1993, and physiatry training at Queen’s University in 1997. She has international medical involvement since 1992. She is a founding member of Bethany Relief and Rehabilitation Canada, and began the International Rehabilitation Special Interest Group of the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in 2007. She is on the education committee of the International Spinal Cord Society. She obtained her MSc in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2008, as Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Queen’s University. Her interests are in community based rehabilitation and factors that affect persons with disabilities globally.
