GHI: The Annual Global Health Recruitment Night – Sep. 28th 2015

On September 28th, the Global Health Initiative (GHI) will present the Annual Global Health Recruitment Night.

The GHI is a student-led initiative incorporating students from a diverse range of backgrounds in global health education and training via workshops and social media resources. As well, the GHI offers the opportunity to participate in international global health projects.

On the Annual Global Health Recruitment Night, you will have the chance to hear about all the exciting opportunities available for students to work abroad and expand their global health horizons, as well as hear from our keynote speaker this year, Professor Peter Klein.

Professor Peter Klein is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, and the Director of the Global Reporting Centre in association with the UBC International Reporting Program. The Global Reporting Centre is a non-profit organization that chronicles under-covered issues around the world such as access to medicine and land disputes in Brazil. He is currently working on a pandemic documentary with CNN, and is also a co-investigator on a CIHR project looking at how rare diseases and the cost of their treatments affect patients and their families.
